The Code

The Mutual Banking Code of Practice is the Code of practice for Australia’s Mutual industry.

Commencing on 1 July 2009, Mutuals who are subscribers to the Code can have the confidence of knowing they are covered by a market leading, plain English commitment to fair and responsible banking. The new Code is seen as another example of the value Mutuals place on improving the financial wellbeing of their members and their communities.
